QGIS Course Outline#
The idea of this introductory QGIS course is to initially complete tasks using the QGIS Graphical User Interface.
The next stage of the course will be to use the python console within QGIS to automate these tasks step by step.
The final part of the course concentrates on developing a standalone python script which will automate the entire workflow from start to finish.
What is QGIS#
QGIS is a Free and Opensource Geographic Information system.
It is a software application that can:

-> visualise
-> analyse
-> publish
geospatial information on Windows, Mac, Linux and BSD (Android coming soon).
